A ROAD in Sedgley has been closed by Dudley Council for nearly a week.
The council has confirmed that Beacon Rise is now closed from today (Thursday, February 8) and will reopen on Wednesday (February 14).
It's due to work being carried out to repair a water main leak.
A council spokesperson said: "The extent of the restriction will be from the junction of Beacon Lane to outside 20 Beacon Rise
"All vehicular traffic will be diverted via: Beacon Lane, Cross Lane, Greenway and vice versa.
"The restriction is required to safely repair a leak on a water main".
