DUDLEY Council is trumpeting its new digital self-service platform which the authority says has received more than 2,500 5-star reviews since it launched.
The MyDudley platform allows users to report issues such as missed bin collections and fly tipping or request a service, including a bulky collection, or request copies of birth, marriage and civil partnership certificates.
More than 24,000 people have created accounts to use the service which allows people to log an issue or request from their phone at a time that suits – rather than having to wait for office hours to get things moving.
Councillor Phil Atkins, the council’s cabinet member for corporate strategy, said: “This is the largest single change in service provision the council has ever undertaken and these five-star reviews clearly show that our residents value what we’re doing.
“MyDudley is the easiest and quickest way to report issues to us with the number of account holders growing all the time.”
