CAREER opportunities will be showcased as MP Mike Wood brings his eighth annual apprenticeship fair to Kingswinford.
The event will be held on Friday March 15 at Kingswinford Community Centre in High Street, and it will run from 3pm to 5pm.
Information will be available about hundreds of apprenticeships and other career opportunities at the event which will be attended by representatives from Dudley College, Halesowen College and Walsall College plus businesses and public sector employers like the NHS, West Midlands Police, British Gas, the Army, National Express, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Metro Bank.
Mr Wood, MP for Dudley South, said: “Apprenticeships are one of the best pathways to successful careers and good-paying jobs; that’s why I organise this event every year so as local people have the extra chance to find out more about the different apprenticeships on offer locally.”
He added: “There are now more than 670 different high quality apprenticeship streams available in an exciting range of roles – and many will be advertised by organisations at my event on the 15th – so I would encourage anyone who may be interested to come along.”
The event is free to attend and there is free car parking at the venue.
