POLICE acting on a tip-off discovered a cannabis factory when they raided a property in Dudley yesterday (Wednesday March 27).
Officers were alerted to suspicious activity in Ivanhoe Road yesterday evening.
Police forced entry to the building and inside officers found a cannabis farm – with a hydroponic set up, extraction air pumps and artificial heating.
The operation filled three rooms and a loft at the property.
Dudley Police posted about the discovery on social media and said: “The electricity had been bypassed and had to be made safe to allow us to remove the plants.
“We understand that drug use and drug dealing is not wanted in our neighbourhoods and we act on any information we receive.”
Anyone with concerns and drug related activity in their area can contact police via Live Chat on the West Midlands Police website or call 101.
