A WOMAN and child have been taken to hospital after a bus hit a bus stop in Brierley Hill.
Emergency services have been pictured at the scene of the incident on the A4100 Mill Street, which has been taped off by police, with Venture Way partially blocked.
Traffic reports say National Express bus services – 2, 2A and 10 have been diverted. Motorists are also advised to seek alternative routes.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Mill Street in Brierley Hill is currently closed between High Street and Venture Way after a bus hit a bus stop shattering the glass.
"A woman and a child have been taken to hospital with injuries believed to have been sustained from the broken glass."
West Midlands Ambulance Service has been contacted for further comment.
