The council has issued a warning to residents as a number of roads are set to close next week. 

Dudley Council said Greyhound Lane in Norton will be closed to traffic from Roman Road to Sandy Road from Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 14.

The closure will be in place from 9.30am until 3pm each day. 

Traffic is set to be diverted via Sugar Loaf Lane, Beechtree Lane, Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster Road, Norton Road, Whittington Road, Eveson Road and vice versa. 

A spokesperson for Dudley Council said: "The restriction is required to safely facilitate the carriageway patching works."

Castlegate Drive in Dudley will also be closed to traffic from Monday, June 10 to Tuesday, June 11. 

There will be one-way traffic northbound from Birmingham Road to the entrance of The Village Hotel. 

Traffic will be diverted via Castlegate Way and Birmingham Road. 

The restrictions are required to safely facilitate Virgin Media civil works.

Smithfields in Stourbridge will also be closed to traffic on Saturday, June 8 for the Stourbridge Day of Dance Event.
