A road in Dudley is set to be closed to safely facilitate carriageway maintenance. 

Dudley Council said Duncan Edwards Way will be closed to traffic from Cinder Bank island to Flood street island. 

The closure will be in place from Wednesday, June 19 to Monday, June 24 from 7pm to 3am each day. 

All traffic is set to be diverted via Flood Street, King Street and Bowling Green Road. 

The closure is in place to safely facilitate carriageway maintenance. 

A spokesperson fro Dudley Council said: "Duncan Edwards Way will close to traffic from June 19 to 24 from 7pm to 3am each evening for carriageway maintenance.

"All traffic will be diverted via Flood Street, King Street, and Bowling Green Road.

"The restrictions are required to safely facilitate carriageway maintenance."
