FOUR teenagers have been arrested after two people were stabbed during a "violent disorder" in Netherton.

Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and an 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder after St Peter's Road was blocked off by police yesterday evening (Sunday June 23).

All four remain in custody today (Monday June 24).

Police said an argument broke out and weapons were brandished - leading to two people receiving stab wounds and a property being damaged.

Officers described it as a "violent disorder" and appealed for witnesses to get in touch.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to an address in Chichester Avenue just after 8.20pm, following reports of a dispute, in which weapons were brandished.

"Two people received stab wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment, and damage was done to a property.

"Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

"An 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

"All four remain in custody."

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called to a stabbing on Chichester Avenue where a man was found and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

They were also called to a stabbing on Morville Road where paramedics found a teenage boy.

He was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
