PARKING bays in Dudley town centre will not be in use for four days while the Dudley Pride Event takes place.
The parking bays on Stone Street will be temporarily suspended from Thursday July 18 until Sunday July 21.
A spokesperson for Dudley Council said: "The parking bays on Stone Street Dudley will be temporarily suspended and a temporary prohibition of waiting and loading will be in force.
"The restriction will be from 00:01 on Thursday 18th July to 23:59 on Sunday 21st July 2024.
"The extent of the restriction will be from 18 to 22a Stone Street Dudley.
"These restrictions are required to safely facilitate the build and breakdown of the marquee for the Dudley Pride Event."
The Dudley Council-led pride event ts taking place on Saturday July 20.
Baga Chipz MBE, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, will headline the Pride event with live vocals, comedy and dazzling costumes.
Stone Street Square will have a stage and marquee from 1 to 8pm with a line-up of entertainment throughout the afternoon including Xfactor finalist Georgia Burgess and Birmingham’s Rainbow Voices Choir, Word of Mouth DJ Stuart Ojelay, drag Queen Trixie Lee and more.
