A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Cradley Heath this morning (Monday July 22).
The incident happened in Foxoak Street near to Tesco Extra just after 11am.
Police and paramedics were reportedly at the scene and the injured man was taken to the region’s trauma centre.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said of the incident: “We were called at 11.08am to Foxoak Street, Cradley Heath, to reports of an RTC involving a car and a pedestrian.
“An ambulance and MERIT trauma team attended and found a pedestrian, a man, with a serious injury following a collision with a car.
“The man received trauma care on scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further care.”
