A DISUSED toilet block in Wall Heath is set for a new lease of life as a shop.
Dudley Council planners have given the go-ahead for the building to be extended and made into a two-storey structure along with a change to retail use.
The building, which is set back from Enville Road, will have office space on the first floor as well as the retail space on the ground floor.
Similar permission was granted for the block, next to Albion Parade, in August 2019.
Among conditions for the latest planning permission is protection for the roots of a tree in front of the block.
A planning officer's report said of the plan: "The scale of the building is considered appropriate and sits well against the adjoining buildings.
"Overall, the redevelopment of the site is a general improvement and allows for the redevelopment of a derelict former public toilet, which detracts from the wider character of the area."
