A MAN from Quarry Bank has been charged with possession of a firearm.
Alan Payne, aged 42, of Lawnsdown Road, was arrested on Friday (July 26).
Warrants were conducted at properties in Lawnsdown Road and Wallows Road in Quarry Bank as part of West Midland Police's commitment to remove weapons from the streets and protect people from those who carry them.
A number of firearms and ammunition were recovered as our investigation continues.
Alan Payne is due to appear before Wolverhampton magistrates today (July 27).
