Police have appealed for information after a child was 'seriously injured' in a collision with a car in Halesowen.
West Midlands Police said they were called to Clement Road at around 7.30pm on Monday (August 5) to reports of a collision involving a child and a vehicle.
A six-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injured not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with their enquiries.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to Clement Road, Halesowen at around 7.30pm on Monday (August 5) to reports of a collision involving a child and a vehicle.
"A six-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries, not believed to be life threatening.
"The driver is assisting with our enquiries.
