THE most expensive streets in Dudley over the last five years have been revealed.
Property Solvers tracked the average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across Dudley postcodes.
Oakham Road, Elizabeth Grove and Hillman Drive have some of the highest-valued homes across the area, according to the data.
On Oakham Road (DY2), 4 properties sold for an average of £423,750. Elizabeth Grove (DY2), 4 properties sold for an average of £369,250. Also, Hillman Drive (DY2) saw 3 properties sell for an average of £366,166.
Some of the cheapest streets include Austin House (DY2) (where 7 properties sold for an average of £43,214), Moncrieffe Close (DY2) (where 6 properties sold for an average of £65,666) and Lloyd Street (DY2) (where 3 properties sold for an average of £69,166).
Commenting on the data, Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “to keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.”
“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Oakham Road (DY2) sold for £595,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £39,000 and under on Melvyn House (DY2), Firs Street (DY2) and Austin House (DY2),” he concludes.
