A MAN has been arrested in connection with an incident in which a woman was threatened and robbed of jewellery worth £5k after officers stopped and searched a man in Dudley overnight.
Traffic officers were on Langstone Road at around 3.30am today when they came across a 24-year-old in a car of interest.
Following checks they discovered the man was wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery in June where a woman was threatened with a knife and robbed of £5,000 worth of jewellery.
The 24-year-old, from Woodcross, was brought into custody for questioning in connection with the robbery, where he remained this afternoon (Tuesday August 27).
A spokesperson for Dudley Police said: "If you have information about people involved in local crime call us on 101, or Live Chat online."
