A BUSY Dudley town centre road is to be closed for a week while a manhole cover is repaired.
Wolverhampton Street is closed from today (Monday September 2) until Tuesday September 10 while repairs are carried out.
It will be closed temporarily from High Street to the Trident Shopping Centre car park entrance.
A Dudley Council notice said a one-way traffic order will also be lifted from Monday to September 10 for the roadworks to be carried out.
It states: "The restriction is required to safely facilitate a manhole cover repair."
The diversion will be via High Street, Stone Street, Priory Street.
