THE ambulance service has confirmed a woman has died after a large emergency services presence was seen in a Brierley Hill street.
Paramedics were called to Woodbury Close just before 3pm yesterday (Monday September 2).
Nothing could be done to save the woman, however, and she was confirmed dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to a medical emergency at a private residential property in Brierley Hill at 2.44pm on Monday.
“A paramedic officer, critical care paramedic and two ambulances attended the scene.
“Sadly, a woman was confirmed deceased on scene.”
Police were also called to the property but later confirmed the woman's death was not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to an address in Woodbury Close, Brierley Hill, at 3.45pm yesterday (Monday).
"On arrival, we found that a woman had sadly died.
"Her death is not being treated as suspicious."
