A NUMBER of roads in Dudley will be temporarily closed to traffic next weekend to enable the Prophet Mohammed Parade to take place safely.
The parade will take place in Dudley Town Centre on Sunday September 15, with the road closures in place from midday to 2pm.
Castle Hill, The Broadway, Ednam Road, Parsons Street, Wolverhampton Street, The Inhedge, Stafford Street, High Street, Vicar Street, King Street, Trindle Road and Bourne Street will all be closed to traffic during this period.
A spokesperson for Dudley Council’s highways department said: “No diversion will be necessary as these will be short duration closures.
“The restriction is required to safely facilitate a parade.”
