The Dudley Group is inviting the public to its first in-person Annual Members Meeting since 2019.

The event will be held at 4.30pm on Thursday, October 17 at Russells Hall Hospital's Lecture Theatre in the Clinical Education Centre.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Trust's past year and future priorities.

Trust chair Sir David Nicholson and chief executive Diane Wake will host the meeting.

They will be joined by the lead governor, fellow governors, members of the Trust board, and the Trust's auditors.

The meeting will also highlight the Trust's 'community first' approach to delivering care to the people of Dudley.

This includes a look at the work of the Dudley Clinical Hub, the teams providing care in the community, and the successful use of virtual wards, which support patients to receive care in their own homes and avoid unnecessary hospital visits.

Sir David Nicholson said: "I am delighted that we are able to host this year’s Annual Members Meeting in person and I look forward to welcoming attendees to Russells Hall Hospital.

"We are very eager to share the Trust’s achievements over the past year, including our positive Care Quality Commission ratings and our continued success with clinical teams receiving Gold Standards Framework accreditation.

"I am also pleased to share what we as a Trust will be focusing on in the upcoming future, and our initiatives to provide excellent care in the community to the people in Dudley."

Electronic copies of the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts and Quality Account are available on the Trust website ahead of the event.
