A MACMILLAN coffee morning arranged by the MP for Kingswinford & South Staffordshire at his office in Wordsley has raised more than £356 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event, which Mike Wood organises each year, was attended by residents, local businesses and councillors from across the constituency.
The Conservative MP said: “I’m so grateful to everyone who came along and made this annual Macmillan Coffee Morning a great success yet again.
“Thanks to the generosity of the residents, local businesses and councillors who popped along, we raised a fantastic £356 for this great cause – adding to the thousands that have been raised at other events like this all around the country.”
Macmillan Cancer Support is one of Britain’s largest charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people and families affected by cancer.
