A POLICE dog was able to sniff out a suspect of violent disorder who was hiding in a loft.
West Midlands Police attended an address off Severn Road, Bloxwich, at around 7.30pm yesterday (October 9).
PD Riot was on the scene with his handler Wayne Trueman and was quickly on the trail of a suspect.
The police dog was used to search the loft where he found a man who was hidden inside.
The man, aged 20, has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder earlier this year.
He is currently in police custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "As is common with most other forces, we breed and train the dogs to help us police the region.
"We're always keen to hear from people who would be able to assist with the development of our puppies and become a fosterer".
