A WOMAN was rushed to hospital in a serious condition and a man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash in Dudley.
The collision, which involved a Mercedes and a Chevrolet Captiva, happened on Withymoor Road at around 11.15pm on Wednesday night (October 9).
West Midlands Police have said officers attempted to stop a Mercedes which was suspected of being stolen.
But the car failed to stop for officers when directed to do so.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A woman was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
"The driver of the Mercedes was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving.
"He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
"A referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) as is normal procedure in such circumstances".
