Police are on the hunt for a wanted man with connections to Birmingham after a pedestrian was left seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Alcester.
Warwickshire Police are trying to find Janusz Gasior who is wanted in connection with a traffic collision on Church Street that left a woman in her 70s with a serious leg injury.
The victim was taken to hospital following the collision which happened at 3.35pm on Saturday (October 12).
Officers said the driver of the car involved in the collision was reported to have initially stopped at the scene before leaving without providing any details.
Gasior has links to Birmingham and Kidderminster.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: "Police are trying to locate Janusz Gasior who is wanted in connection with a traffic collision in Alcester that left a pedestrian with a serious leg injury.
"Any information that may help police locate him can be provided by going to www.warwickshire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/soh/seen-or-heard/ or by calling 101.
"Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
