TWO men who were arrested after a crash in which a woman in her 40s was killed have been released on bail.

The men, aged 25 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a woman in her 40s died and a girl was rushed to hospital following a crash on Saturday afternoon (October 19).

The collision happened around 1.15pm, when an Audi E-Tron, VW Passat, Ford Fiesta and Skoda Fabia collided on the A456 Hagley Causeway at Wassell Grove, heading towards Halesowen.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said today (Tuesday October 22) that the men have been released on bail.

The driver of the Audi, a woman in her 40s, died at the scene. 

A girl in the Audi was taken to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
