A 35-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to attempted child abduction after incidents involving girls.

Dwayne Sheppard, of Goodrest Croft, Birmingham, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court today (Tuesday October 22) where he denied three counts of attempted child abduction. 

He was remanded in custody and will go on trial on March 17 next year at the same court. 

The case comes after police were alerted to an incident involving one girl in Coseley and then a second incident in Coseley involving two girls on Sunday (September 22) evening.

Sheppard is also known as Dwayne Blackstock.
