Two people are in custody following a police chase involving a stolen car in Lye.
Brierley Hill Police said the West Midlands Police traffic unit alongside the drone, firearms and dog team, pursued a stolen car driving through Lye last night (Tuesday, October 29).
After a lengthy pursuit by the traffic unit, the occupants of the vehicle decamped but were later found with help from the dog and firearms unit.
Two people are now in custody.
In a post on social media, Brierley Hill Police said: "Last night, we pursued a car through Lye. West Midlands Police Traffic Unit picked it up and after a lengthy pursuit, they decamped. With help from the firearms, drone and dog units, we were able to locate the offenders.
"The vehicle was stolen moments before in a Burglary. Two people are now in custody."
