A SECOND teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal knife attack in Solihull earlier this week.
A 17 year-old boy, who has not yet been named by police, was stabbed to death in Marston Green on October 29.
West Midlands Police launched a murder investigation and arrested another 17-year-old on suspicion of murder the following day.
He has since been released on police bail.
Today, November 1, a second 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the attack.
In a statement, West Midlands Police said: “This morning at around 4.30am, we arrested a teenager in Birmingham on suspicion of murder, and he remains in police custody as our investigation continues.
"Our thoughts remain firmly with the victim's family and loved ones at this truly tragic time, and they are being supported by our officers.”
West Midlands Police are still appealing for information about the stabbing and have urged anyone with information to get in touch on 101 or via their live chat at westmidlands.police.uk, quoting log 4239, 29.10.2024.
