A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences after a police dog found him hiding behind a bin in Tipton.
West Midlands Police said they saw a vehicle on Princes End High Street which reacted to the police presence.
After a short pursuit, the vehicle crashed into a wall and officers chased the suspect through some fields.
With help from PD Snow, the suspect was found to be hiding behind a bin.
PD Snow also used his super nose to locate a small knife, which was attached to a keyring.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and driving offences.
He remains in police custody for questioning.
