A MAN has been rushed to hospital with potentially serious injuries after a crash in Netherton.
The collision involved a car and a pedestrian and happened at the junction of Cole Street and Northfield Road on Thursday afternoon (November 21).
West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance, paramedic officer a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a car and a pedestrian had been involved in a collision.
"The pedestrian, a man, was treated for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment".
Meanwhile, West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at the junction of Cole Street and Northfield Road in Netherton, just before 1.30pm.
"A man was taken to hospital to be assessed for his injuries.
