ENVILLE enjoyed a comprehensive win at home against Old Vigornians on Saturday.
After winning the toss and electing to bat Enville found themselves 99-4, before a stand of 121 between Matt Branch (62) and James Willis (64) allowed them to finish on 258-7 from their 50 overs.
Ozman Fiaz headed the visitors response with 44 but his only support came from Rowan Davidson (48) as Old Vigornians were dismissed for 215 from 43.5 overs. Jamie Willis took 5-51 and leg spinner Jamie Tristram 3-52.
The win leaves Enville fourth in Division Three of the Worcestershire League.
In the second XI match Enville won the toss and elected to bowl, restricting the visitors to 121 all out in 46.4 overs with Tom Watkin taking 5-13.
In reply, Enville got the runs for the loss of two wickets with Mark Goodman (43) and Paul Lippitt (40) top scoring. However, the 20 point win however allowed Cookley to overtake Enville at the top of the league due to their 24 point win over Burlingham.
