ENVILLE ended the season with a whimper as they lost away to second placed Alvechurch and Hopwood by 127 runs.
The hosts won the toss and decided to bat. Despite losing wickets regularly they accumulated well on a fast scoring ground, finishing their innings on 304-8.
Tom Jackson (3-88) had the pick of the figures with Adam Tranter (2-54) and Jamie Tristram (2-54) each chipping in with two wickets.
Enville's reply did not get off to a good start as they were reduced to 18-3 off nine overs. Rob Miller (26) helped to re-build with Matt Branch and Tranter (43) also batted well as he added 82, before Branch fell for 85.
His departure sparked a collapse as the last five wickets fell for only 10 runs and Enville subsided to 177 all out in 37 overs. Despite the poor finish, Enville ended the season a creditable fourth in the table.
The second XI were unable to finish the season as champions, losing to Bromyard which enabled Cookley to claim first place by eight points.
Batting first Enville could only manage 124 all out (A Mills 4 for 38) a total which Bromyard knocked off for three wickets (O Thomas 76 not out).
The Sunday XI recorded their fourth win of the season away at Bridgnorth. Batting first, Bridgnorth scored 207-6 (A Leather 34 I Brown 37) and in reply Enville scored 208-7 (Rob Miller 66, Tom Bingham 35 not Out) with seven overs to spare.
