Netherton CC’s relegation fears increased with a six-wicket defeat at home to Stourport.
The Highbridge Road side are only 19 points above the Worcestershire League Division Two drop zone and now face a hugely important Bank Holiday double bill.
They entertain bottom side Romsley and Hunnington on Saturday before travelling to league-leaders Belbroughton on Monday.
After being put into bat by Stourport, Netherton quickly lost Mark Buttery (1), Simon Oseland (5) and Troy Lee for a duck.
Paul Harris (26) and Tarab Nawaz (41) led the fightback but both fell to the impressive Matt Delo (3-37). Darren Hall (25) added the only other significant contribution as Netherton were dismissed for 134.
Hall gave the hosts early hope when he removed Stourport openers Dave Pittaway and Michael Pratt.
But Andrew Siwicki hit 57, Dan Platt made an unbeaten 47, while Craig Siwicki was 16 not out.
