POLICE in Dudley have been threatened by a machete after stopping a car with cloned number plates.
A stolen Audi A4 was spotted by police on cloned plates early this morning.
The car was first spotted in Brierley Hill.
A spokesman said: "We attempted to box it in but the driver rammed his way out before being pursued around Dudley for 20 minutes.
"The car was stung and all three occupants detained - one of which tried to threaten us with a machete."
The driver of the car was found to be a 16-year-old boy, West Midlands Police have since confirmed.
He along with a 15-year-old passenger and a 22-year-old man were all arrested - with drugs seized and a large machete recovered.
The Audi is believed to have been stolen during a burglary in Quinton on November 14.
