APPLICATIONS for the post of Dudley Kingswinford’s director of rugby post have now closed.
Interest has been world wide with applications coming from Argentina, Spain, South Africa and Thailand.
A short list of five names has been drawn up for interview and these are now scheduled for next week, with a decision hopefully before the end of the month.
The interview panel will consist of chairman Ken Crane, club captain Ed Parry and joint head coach Pete Knight.
Tony Lanaway and Gordon Bannatyne will sit in on the interviews in an advisory capacity.
Bannatyne said: “We hope to make an announcement on the new appointment within the next week or so.”
DKs are back in action this weekend when they entertain Birmingham and Solihull (kick-off 3pm).
